Comic Con 2017

Comic Con graphicStorm troopers, cartoonists, video gamers and more will flock to the Bergenfield Public Library’s inaugural Comic Con program, which is scheduled for Saturday July 15th and Sunday July 16th from 12-5pm. This free family friendly event is designed to celebrate all aspects of popular culture including movies, music, video games and anime.

Highlights of the 2-day program include performances by the Montclair Gamer Symphony Orchestra, visits from artists Mark McKenna and Mark Mariano, and author Dave Roman.

Die hard video and card game buffs can spend each afternoon in the gamer’s room. Tournaments will be scheduled throughout the weekend with tons of cool prize giveaways.

Younger participants can spend their time in the Children’s Room and make cool crafts like Pokémon balls. Due to expected crowds, supplies are limited for some of the more advanced children’s crafts.

Outside vendors, artists and illustrators will be on site to sell some of their merchandise as well.

Please be advised that overflow parking is available at the Roy W. Brown Middle School, which is next to the Library on 130 S. Washington Ave.
