Learn a Foreign Language with Mango!
Bergenfield patrons now have access to Mango Languages, the online learning language system that’s fast, effective and fun to do! A valid Bergenfield Library card is your passport to interactive courses in 22 foreign languages. For each foreign language offered (Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew, Arabic and a whole lot more) you have a choice of Basic or Complete 2.0. The Basic courses are a quick introduction to a language; you’ll gain simple, practical skills to engage in polite conversation. It’s great preparation if you are traveling to a foreign country and need some basics to get around. Complete 2.0 is for the student that wants a more in-depth learning experience and the courses include comprehensive language and grammar skills.

Mango to Go
With the free Mango app, you can learn a language from your iPhone or Android phone, and have access to pronunciations, literal translations and more, on the go. You need a valid Bergenfield Library card and have already registered for a Mango account to access your courses from a mobile device. The Mango app runs on iPhone or iPod Touch versions iOs4 or higher, and Android phones version 2.2 or higher.
