Friends’ Book Sale
You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy fantastic books at the Friends of the Library Book Sale – and that’s kind of the same thing. We have the finest collection of gently-used fiction and non-fiction books in the stratosphere. You’ll find best-sellers: hardcover and paperbacks, biographies, cookbooks, books on travel, crafts and religion. The Friends also sell DVD movies, CD music and audio books. Grab a supply of mystery, suspense, romance, how-to and the books you’ve always meant to read. Also lots of foreign language items: Spanish, Korean, Hindi and more. Catch up on what the kids are reading with our extensive Young Adult collection. Our books are organized, neat, clean and cheap! Shop upstairs at the Bergenfield Public Library, 50 West Clinton Ave., Bergenfield. Bring a tote bag.

Remember, if you would not give it to a friend, please do not give it to the Friends!
The Friends of the Bergenfield Library welcomes your clean, intact donated hardcover and paperback books, commercially published media: audio books, movies and music. Your donation will be added to the Library’s collection or sold at the Friends’ Ongoing Book Sale.
We also accept the following materials but ONLY if less than 5 years old:
• Price guides and almanacs
• Medical and financial advice books
• Travel guidebooks
• Computer manuals
• Test preparation guides
We are sorry, but we cannot take:
• Dirty, moldy, smelly, burnt, chewed or wet items (No highlighting or underlining)
• Books with missing covers
• No magazines – none!
• Encyclopedias published before 2000
• 8-track tapes, homemade DVDs, CDs, videos, or cassette tapes
• Reader’s Digest condensed books
• Case law, statute, and regulation books
